An online platform for collaborative engineering

Under this project, an open platform is being developed that will allow engineering to take place across companies and manufacturers. The development tools that are used in the manufacturing process exchange data via the platform and do so in a secure and synchronised manner; third parties can offer and integrate their own services. The key aspects required for developing such a platform such as data security and rights management are controlled by the platform. This is to speed up the design process and make it a lot more flexible.
